All Redevelopment Agencies (RDAs) in California were formally dissolved effective January 1, 2012. The affordable housing functions of the former RDAs were assigned to Housing Successor Agencies (HSA).
The housing assets of the former redevelopment agency of Los Angeles County were assumed by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA). In addition, five Cities (Arcadia, Azusa, Huntington Park, Industry, and San Gabriel) elected to transfer their former redevelopment housing assets to their local housing agency; as such, the LACDA serves as the HSA for those Cities.
The HSA Annual Report regarding the Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund has been prepared pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 34176.1(f) and is prepared annually. The Report sets forth certain details of the LACDA HSA activities during the previous fiscal year.Housing Successor Agency Annual Report FY 2020-2021
