NOTICE TO PUBLIC OF FUNDING FOR NEW PROJECT

 
PUBLIC NOTICE 

The public is invited to review the following proposed off-cycle project of the County to be included in the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus 2019 (CDBG-CV) Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  

COUNTYWIDE CDBG-CV PROJECT 

Agency Name:  Housing Operations Division

Program Name: COVID-Safer Virtual and In-Person Activities for Public Housing Seniors

Project Number:  CV1148-24

Original CDBG Amount: $933,160

Description:  This new COVID-19 related project provides for technical and infrastructure upgrades and enhancements for community centers at all Los Angeles County Senior Public Housing sites to allow COVID-safer virtual and in-person activities for senior residents.  These improvements will be carried out at various countywide locations.  This activity meets the HUD National Objective as a project serving a Low- and Moderate-Clientele (Seniors) under HUD Code 03E. 

This is a 5-day notice.  Anyone wishing to comment should submit written comments by December 30, 2024, to the attention of:
