The public is invited to review the following proposed off-cycle project of the County to be included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

CDBG Allocation: $250,000
Description: This project will include material and labor for the installation of 400 liner feet of a concrete masonry unit wall, 6-feet in height, along the south side of the Growing Experience Urban Farm that runs parallel to the railroad tracks, located at 750 Via Carmelitos, Long Beach, CA 90805. The scope covers all excavation of footings, rebar, and concrete. Permits will be required to be pulled from Building and Safety for inspection purposes. This activity meets the HUD National Objective as a project serving Low- and Moderate-Clientele under HUD Code 03Z.
