The public is invited to review the following proposed off-cycle project of the County to be included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2023– June 30, 2024 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). 

FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT PROJECT

Original CDBG Amount: $180,000

Description:  This new project provides for the renovation of the men’s and women’s public restroom at the East Los Angeles Civic Center at Belvedere Park Lake. The improvements include interior and exterior paint, anti-vandalism fixtures installation, electrical and lighting improvements and associated work. CDBG funds are used for personnel and non-personnel and indirect costs.  This activity meets the HUD National Objective as a project serving a Low- and Moderate-income Area under HUD Code 03E.
