The public is invited to review the following proposed off-cycle project of the County to be included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

CDBG Allocation: $60,000
Description: This new project funds facility improvements to the Youth Activities League (YAL) facility. Work includes, but is not limited to, interior and exterior facility improvements such as architectural design for roof and ceiling repairs, air conditioning units, affixed furnishings, and equipment. The YAL is located at 14289 Telegraph Road Whittier, CA 90604. This activity meets the HUD National Objective as a project serving Low- and Moderate-Income Clientele under HUD Code 03D.
