Homeless Incentive Program

The LACDA's Homeless Incentive Program (HIP) offers monetary incentives to encourage landlords to rent their available units to the LACDA's homeless first-time Section 8 voucher/certificate holders prioritized for admission under a homeless preference. Funding is contingent on availability and is disbursed on a first-come first-served basis.

Funding for the program comes as part of the Homeless Prevention Initiative, a collaborative effort between multiple County agencies, supported by funding from Los Angeles County Measure H. Owners with available units in the cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Inglewood, Norwalk, Burbank, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Culver City, and the LACDA’s regular jurisdictions may also participate in this program.
